IKEA has done it again! The fashionable furniture icon has released an App that will bring the IKEA catalogue to life with a collection of additional content.
The App includes many features such as interactive experiences, photo galleries, the ability to explore products further and to unlock videos. The IKEA catalogue is distributed to 200 million worldwide customers. The app will not only provide consumers with a hands on, interactive experience it will also serve as a convenient and portable method of viewing the latest
products anywhere, anytime.
IKEA has always been one step ahead in offering consumers unique and practical furniture and home wares, so it is only logical that their marketing embraces this approach as well. Consumers are increasingly demanding that retailers work with new technology to provide information on different platforms. By targeting consumers not only researching online from
work or home, but as they travel around, retailers have the potential to increase exposure to the target audience and ultimately boost consumer awareness of products and brands.
