Teenagers and mothers around the world rejoice! IKEA, master of flat pack furniture, has now released every mother’s dream – a kitchen built to stand the test of an out of control teenage party.
IKEA has launched an online campaign that allows viewer’s to interact with one of their party-proof kitchens. Viewers can drag an avatar through the IKEA kitchen and watch him jump on countertops, spill alcohol everywhere and even break-dance on the stove. All the while, viewers can read about IKEA’s superior kitchen features such as ‘slam-tested doors’.
It’s a nice interactive example and will hopefully instill a sense of confidence for consumers in the IKEA products, more than viewing still imagery could.
And if the parents find out a party has been had in their house while they’re away, surely punishment for the teen would be a weekend in an IKEA store.
